How Stories

#howstories is a hashtag series that aims to build a community of like-minded makers by sharing bits of their creative stories on Fridays. Join us!

How to participate:

Every Friday, share something behind your artist journey under the hashtag #howstories and tag two friends to challenge them to do the same.

What should I share?

Share insights behind your process, why you do it, what feeling you get out of it. How did your craft change over time? What inspires you? You don’t have to reveal your secrets, but let people know there’s a real person behind your beautiful creations. If you need more inspiration, check the hashtag feed to see what others are saying!

Who is this for?

For all creatives! The idea is to expand our community by finding and sharing inspiration from those in the creative industries. If you’re an illustrator, an interior designer, an artist, or a maker of all kinds of things, this is for you! Your fans want to know what inspires you, and connect with the things you make in a meaningful way. Let’s all learn from each other and contribute to this community.

I hope to see you there!

#howstories: I started playing with acrylic paint in Finland a few years ago when I got a box of paints as a gift, and since then I’ve been experimenting a lot to figure out how colors blend together and how paint dries up on different types of surfaces forming layers. Abstract art to me is more about emotion and intuition, but I’ve also enjoyed the process of improving my technique over time. ⁣ ⁣ Every Friday from now on I would like to share some insights behind my art and bits from my story under the hashtag #howstories. To all makers and creatives out there, please join me and tell your own behind-the-scenes under this hashtag every Friday, so that we can learn from each other, find support, and share encouragement. 💙 ⁣
